What I Ate: July 23, 2010

  • Chocolate protein shake with random added flavors: 1/2 scoop Nectar chocolate truffle protein powder (50 kcals, 11.5g protein, 1g carbs, 0g fat), 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese (80 kcals, 15g protein, 5g carbs, 0g fat), 1 tbsp. Hershey's unsweetened cocoa (10 kcals, 1g net carbs), SF syrups. Total - (140 kcals, 26.5g protein, 7g carbs, 0g fat).
  • 4 Eggface mini-quiche bites with ham, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms (84 kcals, 14g protein, 2.8g net carbs, 6.8g fat)
  • Mocha protein frosty with random added flavors: 1/2 scoop Nectar cappuccino protein powder (45 kcals, 11.5g protein, 0g carbs, 0g fat), 1/2 cup fat-free cottage cheese (80 kcals, 15g protein, 5g carbs, 0g fat), 1 tbsp. Hershey's unsweetened cocoa (10 kcals, 1g net carbs), Torani SF vanilla and DaVinci SF praline, toasted marshmallow, and peanut butter syrups. Total - (135 kcals, 26.5g protein, 6g carbs, 0g fat).
  • 1/2 vanilla creme Oh Yeah! (110 kcals, 16g protein, 1.5g carbs, 4.5g fat) in an Sbux quad espresso with SF chocolate and vanilla syrups. Yummy drink en route airport.
  • Salad: 200 grams jicama (76 kcals, 2g protein, 8g net carbs, 0g fat), 1 oz. Jennie-O extra lean turkey ham (30 kcals, 4g protein, 1g net carbs, 1.5g fat), 1 oz. Whole Foods fat-free sharp cheddar (40 kcals, 8g protein, 1g carbs, 0g fat), about 1.5 tbsp. leftover homemade green tomato-habanero chow chow (about 10 kcals, 2g net carbs). Total - (156 kcals, 14g protein, 12g net carbs, 1.5g fat). What amazes me about salad is that it's hard to mess it up. This was beyond random, yet tasty.
  • 2 100-calorie packs natural almonds (200 kcals, 8g protein, 4g net carbs, 18g fat) and 4 more Eggface mini-quiche bites with ham, onion, bell pepper, and mushrooms (84 kcals, 14g protein, 2.8g net carbs, 6.8g fat). This was all from my travel food stash.
